Which map should a beginner use?
The current source set does not publish official difficulty labels. Pick the place where you can identify one corner with a clear approach, enough correction room, and a visible exit. That makes your practice measurable without pretending one map is universally “best.”
- Use the same car on every comparison run.
- Choose one corner sequence, not the entire map.
- Mark where you begin braking or initiating.
- Move maps only after you can repeat a clean entry and exit.
A simple map-learning block
| Minutes | Focus | Goal |
|---|---|---|
| 0–5 | Clean route | See corners and exits without drifting |
| 5–10 | Single entry | Repeat the same initiation marker |
| 10–15 | Hold and exit | Reduce large corrections |
| 15–20 | One setup test | Compare exactly one change |
